Community Kitchens Program

Community Kitchens is a great way to practice our math skills.

Recipes use fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division skills when you are doubling or tripling a recipe.

Budgeting for your family meals also includes math.

Being confident in our math skills sure makes cooking a lot easier!

Call us to find out when our next Community Kitchen will be held.

DUE TO COVID-19, we have switched to an online format using ZOOM or another form of video chat to meet and plan meals, and again to cook them.

Cost is $20 for three meals. Planning and cooking are on separate days and you must attend both. It is great that you can do this from the comfort of your home using a video chat application.

Pickup of groceries at the Gibbons Family Resource Centre by appointment the day before cooking.

The groceries needed for cooking can be delivered to your closest community if pickup is not an option.
