SAL Programs

Sturgeon Adult Learning supports Sturgeon region residents in their goals to become successful, lifelong learners.

Volunteer Tutor of Adult Learners Program

We can match individuals with one on one volunteer tutors to assist with improving  reading, writing, mathematical or computer skills.

Our volunteer tutor program is FREE of charge and we can provide subsidy for registrations for those learners who cannot access programs due to income.

Computer Programs

We offer programs to help adults learn Basic computer skills.

We also can help with basic technology on phones and tablets.

For example: support with emailing, sending pictures, learning how to use ZOOM and more.

Numeracy Programs

Legal Community Kitchen 2020

Community Kitchens provides an opportunity for learners to learn and practice using important math skills while preparing meals for their families.

Family Literacy Programs

provide parents with the chance to meet other parents, socialize with their children and improve their parenting skills while learning about other community supports and programs that are out there.

We provide the Parent Child Mother Goose program in partnership with Families First Society Fort Saskatchewan.
