Our Programs

Sturgeon Adult Learning supports the Sturgeon region residents in their goals to become successful, lifelong learners.

We provide programs that serve families and individuals in meeting their learning needs.

We offer programs that serve families including the Building Blocks Program, Parent Child Mother Goose and Books Alive.

We offer programs to serve individual foundational learning needs.

We can match individuals with one on one volunteer tutors to assist individuals with improving the reading, writing, mathematical or computer skills.

We provide English Language Learning workshops for individuals wishing to improve their English.

We partner with the Francophone Asssociation Centralta in Legal, to provide French Language Learning classes twice a year.

We offer computer classes for adults to learn basic computer skills.

Community Kitchens provides an opportunity to learners to learn and practice using important numeracy skills while preparing meals for their families.

Community courses are offered on a cost recovery basis but we can provide subsidy for registrations for learners who cannot access programs due to income.
