For many adult learners—especially newcomers to Canada, Indigenous peoples, refugees, immigrants, temporary residents, individuals from diverse economic backgrounds, and those whose first language is not English—acquiring English language skills is essential for greater independence, access to education and employment, and for full connection, participation, and satisfaction in their communities.
At Sturgeon Adult Learning, we recognize that language learning is continuous and unique for each learner.
